A Mod Gem in Old Hoover - it can be yours!

I found out about this fabulous Gene Jones designed place and just had to include it here at Magic City Modern. The owners (who bought it from Jones himself) have done a wonderful job maintaining the integrity of this 1958 post and beam gem and really want it to wind up in good hands. (Tuscanizers need not apply). It's 3/2 with a den, an office, a trap-door accessible safe room (!) and lots of MCM swagger. The price is $269,900 and you can contact the owners at Wendytatum@me.com if you're interested. And, seriously, who wouldn't be interested? Heck, I would be interested if I didn't have a yard that looked like something out of Grey Gardens and a dining room full of IKEA cabinet boxes awaiting install following demo of the existing Bonanza-meets-Boogie Nights kitchen. A few images to whet your appetite . . .
